New Release: The Case of the Llama Raising Librarian

I’m proud to announce that the third book in my Buttercup Bend cozy mystery series has been published by Next Chapter Publishing. Check out this 5-star review of The Case of the Llama Raising Librarian:

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 8, 2023

Cathy Carter has been spending a lot of time at home. Her dilemma is deciding whether to accept the marriage proposal from Steve or Michael. Cathy is surprised when she gets a visit from the town Librarian, Mildred Hastings. Danielle called to say that she thought her mother was murdered. Mildred knows that Cathy works with a detective agency and asks Cathy to go with her. Cathy also hopes that the time away from Buttercup Bend will help her deal with her problem about who to marry. Danielle has arranged for Mildred and Cathy to be undercover as temporary workers at the farm. Things get even more complicated when Steve and Michael show up at the llama farm, followed a short time later by fellow Nancy, also from the detective agency.

The police had originally termed Doris’ death a heart attack, but subsequent testing proved Danielle’s claim that her mother was murdered to be correct. The suspect list includes various family members and several farm employees. In an attempt to solve the mystery, the family will hold a re-enactment of the dinner party at which Doris was killed.

Who killed Doris? Why was she killed? Will Cathy and her friends be able to sort through the lies and unravel the mystery of Doris’ death? Will Cathy be able to decide who to marry? Only time will tell!!

Debbie De Louise has created another wonderful Buttercup Bend mystery with great characters and unusual, but realistic, situations. The story has plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader thoroughly engaged clear to the end.
